    Re: Traveling C.N.A.

I see Traveling Nursing CNA and Traveling Behavioral Tech positions every so often. If they had a National Certification would greatly help things. I'm a Traveling RN and my wife Travels with me and works as a CNA or Behavioral Tech. One option is to Travel and work per diem in block book assignments or convince the company to contract with you as fas as having a start and end date which would make you a Traveler and give you the tax benefits if you have a Permanent Tax Home (See www.TravelTax.com ). Another option is seasonal contracts for example a CNA at Lower Keys Medical Center can make $15/hr without benefits. May even try independent contracts in private duty and travel then you can get even more tax breaks operating as your own business.

That's interesting to know! I was set up through Travel Nurse Jobs * Info Source to Travel Nurse Jobs and they also did a great job with getting me on the right path. I started out in Philadelphia with an agency and now I'm in LA and i LOVE IT. The pay is GREAT and I am seeing the world... well, the US so far. I definitely recommend trying this out!
