Re: New here!

Nicky, forgive Soldier. He's from Texas, and hard to understand at times himself (sorta like an American version of a ****ney accent).

Soldier, the term 'bloody' is a pretty strong cuss word 'across the pond'. I use it only because 1) it gets by the filters here, and 2) the typical American doesn't get it.

Cat, I'm not ignorant to the british application of the word bloody.

BTW, I'm very proud to be a Texan. However, I'd much rather ask for forgiveness than permission any day.

Thumbs up Re: New here!

Hello to you all!! Im sure I will enjoy posting and 'talking' to my peers across the waterSo Soldier nurse, youve got a Mini Cooper eh? Cool!! I had one of the originals some years ago. I loved it, but sadly it just died and I couldnt afford to keep it going on a student bursary. Now I have a classic VW camper van. Such a lot of fun!!!!!
Can anyone recommend a really good dude ranch? You know, where us Brits can go play cowboys for real. its my 50th in two years time and we want to do something different, and Ive wanted to go to the States since I was 5yrs old.
So any info would be greatly appreciated....
