| Hello! My name is Cindy and I'm new to this forum. I have my B.S.N., but let my license lapse when I raised my three boys. I'm back in school again to get my R.N. and pass the state boards. It seemed to be the best way to go since a few years have passed since I practiced. Hope to hear from you all!Cindy |

I've heard of RN refresher courses for nurses that have not practiced in awhile and let their license expire. Again, welcome! |

| Hello! I'm taking almost all of the courses again as it has been about 27 years since I was active in nursing. I wish there were refresher courses offered to get ready for the state boards, but Fl. doesn't offer anything! I researched the whole thing before starting classes, but came up with only taking the state boards again. I'm not current with the medications and the newer procedures, etc., so I opted to start again. This will help in my confidence and experience before just jumping in again. So far I'm making A's, but it sure is different going to school at my age and working full time as a C.N.A. It gets frustrating at times knowing I"m capable of doing more, but this is just temporary until I graduate.Best Regards from Daytona Beach ![]() Cindy |

| Re: New to the forums :) Oh, wow! I give you credit for doing it all again. Is it easier the 2nd time because you know most of it or has nursing changed that much over the years? Good luck with renewing your license. I hope you come around here often.
