GRAND FORKS (AP) - The University of North Dakota is unveiling a high-tech clinical simulation center for nursing students.
Officials say the center can simulate most human medical emergencies, including allergic reactions, the effects of nerve gas or weapons of mass destruction, drug overdoses, a severed limb, and other traumatic injuries.
UND Nursing Dean Chandice Covington says the equipment will provide students with "real life, complex" clinical experiences before they work with live patients.
