| Need input about first travel assignment! I'm about to do my first travel assignment and my recruiter sent my profile to several hospitals..how long does it usually take to get a response back? I have only been waiting for two days but wasn't sure what the norm was! Input please  |

| Re: Need input about first travel assignment! Usually you will get a call for a phone interview within a week, but I have seen some hospitals take a little longer.

| Re: Need input about first travel assignment! more questions Has anyone ever not gotten a contract after an interview? Any input on things I should know that I will be asked in the phone interview or any other advice for me as a first time traveler? As you can see I'm really new at this..lol |

| Re: Need input about first travel assignment! Remember that they are not only interviewing you, but that you are interviewing them! They will ask the usual interview-type questions, and then will also ask about your experience and qualifications. You should be asking them how big the unit is, what their nurse/pt. ratio is, what types of patients they see, what type of ancilliary staff is available to help (CNA's, techs, RT, etc...), will there be the option to pick up overtime (if you want it), will you have to wear a certain color scrubs, etc.....
