| Hello! My name is Angela. I am 21 and I am here to learn how to get into being a labor and delivery nurse. I have always wanted to go to school for something but could never quite figure out what I wanted to go to school for. I didn't want to start paying for classes just to change my mind a bout a million times. After I got pregnant and had my son I really go interested in labor and delivery. By the time I had my son the nurses were quite impressed with my calmness and knowledge about everything that was going on. I really enjoyed learning about what was happening to my body and even more about how women have babies. Basically what I am here for is just to gain some knowledge about nursing and how to go about obtaining my future career. ~Angela |

| Re: My Introduction Welcome! You might start by talking to a few colleges of nursing in your area, and seeing if they can arrange for you to spend a day shadowing a labor & delivery nurse, to learn more about what they do & if it indeed is something you'd like to do. |
