Hi all...I am a L&D nurse (13 years)...and a Traveler (9 years)
I am working a weekend special in New Orleans right now but will be back to travelling by fall...I hate the politics in the hospital as a staff nurse...would rather come and go before things get sticky...hospitals in general use and abuse their permanent staff...calling them off for short census ( why do Nurses bear the brunt of no patients anyway), constant meetings (on your day off) and generally trying to get away with as much as possible, preying on our naturally "caring" selves...otherwise, I am married with three grown children( 3 grand children) AND a 3 year old, my husband and little daughter travel with me. He is Australian and I lived there for 2 years after my daughter was born, yes, and worked there for those interested in working abroad..it is possible...I love travelling (heheheee, of course) photography, hiking and am dabbling in acrylics now..portraits...so that's me...glad to be here

I am in the middle of 'politics' myself. All I can do is roll my eyes mentally, untill I can get myself outta this mess.
