It has been asked of me to create an introductions forum and I think it's a great idea so here it is!

I guess the next thing for me to do would be to intruduce myself.

My name is Aaron Cooper. I'm 30 years old (barely)...sigh. I have a beautiful wife and two awesome little girls. I'm an LPN. I'm the owner of UltimateNurse.com.

I attended college at Oklahoma State University before going to LPN school in 2000. My mom is a nurse and it is what I always wanted to do but never felt like I could, being a male and all . Opportunity knocked and I finally caved...

I started this site at that time mainly as a hobby but I also thought there was an opportunity for success there, and plus I had some crazy ideas about actually being able to change some things about nursing that I thought needed changing. Probably gonna strike out on that last one but you never know, there's always hope!

I live in Edmond, Oklahoma. We just moved here about 3 months ago. I'm currently not working as a nurse (by my definition anyway). I was doing a lot of per diem work before we moved here but now only doing flu shots, health fairs, and other short term things like that. I have another business which involves a hobby of mine that keeps me somewhat busy.

I am a HUGE (understatement) Oklahoma State Sports fan. I love to fish and hunt and play golf. I enjoy gambling and having a few drinks with friends. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Man, this is starting to sound like a dating service ad lol. I think the married part is a good indicator against that but these days, you never know with people.

Please do not hesitate to contact me any time but try to be patient on a reply as I get A TON OF EMAIL every day...on top of having to wade through the spam that doesn't get filtered out. I may catch you that day but it could be a week. I'm sorry about that. I hate it, but there aren't enough hours in the day sometimes!

(additionally, when you introduce yourself don't feel like you have to write an entire novel like I did. Short and sweet is just fine if that is what you prefer!)

It's an outdoors related site. I'd link to it, but I've seriously messed it up trying to update the config file! (ouch)
