Talking I got into nursing program at MSU in Missouri I am so excited!

I will have a busy 2 years but I am so excited. I was only a #3 alternate when they made the selection but they already had a position open. I am so excited. I have always wanted to be a nurse and I got married 15 years ago and have 5 wonderful children and the rest is history. My husband has degenerative osteoarthritis and we decided this would be a good time for me to pursue my dream. I am doing pre reqs. now that will make it easier later. I have chemistry and nutrition this summer and a really full semester this fall.I have had all 5 of my children at home and that is a story for another thread. I am also a homeschooling mom, though dad is helping out a lot now. I guess that is my life in a nutshell. Hope to get to know some of you.I am thinking surgery right now but that might change later, you never know. Helen:houra:

Hi, Helen! Welcome to the site! :waving: You're doing the right thing by taking your pre-req's early.....then you can concentrate on the core Nursing classes when you get there.

Good luck, and drop by often!
