Travel Nurse

I'm an RN, looking at transitioning from RN to NP. I'd like to do acute care NP, but see that the majority of online (distance) programs are for Family NP. I think I'll do the FNP and then, if I still absolutely want to do acute care, will do a post-masters cert for it. Who knows, maybe I'll love FNP? I just can't afford Vanderbilt right now for the distance ACNP program, but might be able to if I already had my FNP.

So, I'm confused, and undecided - but know that I LOVE being a nurse!

BTW - I'm a Texans fan. I think I'm going to need a support group for that.
