Hi there everyone! Im a new filipino nurse..

Hi there people!
Im 23, a second courser, and I am a newly registered nurse in the philippines and i am currently residing in canada as a landed immigrant.. i am currently processing my registration here.. based from what my colleagues told me is that i have to study still here if i will work here in canada as a nurse.. now i am planning to go to US.. coz i find it hard it here in canada to look for a health related job coz most of the employers require canadian experience and i still have to study and "upgrade" my education as they would require.. now im asking for any professional advice or steps/procedures from you guys that i may take as an option in my career path.. Thanks a lot.. i really appreciate ur suggestions and opinions..

:waving: Welcome to the site, RC; nice to meet you. In order to obtain a job in the US, I would suggest looking in the State Forums for the State Board of Nursing, and seeing what each State requires for licensure. Each State varies. Hope this helps. Keep us posted!
