Smile Hi-Nice to Meet All of Youz

Seems like a nice site-Hello

I am thinking about becoming a traveler, probably starting around September. Have never done it before and don't really know where to start and what to look out for.

I have worked Neuro ICU and general ICU and now am a ED nurse (CEN). Work in the Big Apple, level I trauma center; hence, the name TJ for trauma junkie. Nothing better in this whole wide world as a juicy trauma, except, maybe, the perfect pizza!

Look forward to joining in some insightful discussions

:waving: Hi, TJ! Nice to have you with us. To find out more about Traveling, peruse some of the Travel Nurse Forums. I am sure you will find some pointers there. Hope you post pointers as you become seasoned, too!

Regarding the juicy trauma.....can you manage the pizza before, during, or after? Or all 3?

Re: Hi-Nice to Meet All of Youz

Hey TJRN, welcome to the forum - glad you found us. We've got a lot in common - I was a neuro ICU nurse before working in a level 1 trauma center. I work in Indianapolis, however, not NYC. I'd love to see you in action in the big apple. Our unit is pretty crazy, I can't imagine working in NYC. You're in the right place for both juicy trauma and good pizza!! :-)

I don't know anything about traveling, but with your experience I would assume that you wouldn't have much problem. Keep us posted!!

Tom
