Hi everyone, from a travel nurse

This a first time (ever) thread for me... I have twenty-five years of varied nursing experience. Currently, I am completing my second chronic hemodialysis assignment in MO. I have had a great experience with my agency and assignment. Electing the housing stipend option, and have arranged my own private, furnished housing without problems. I am even traveling with my cat. If I can be of any assistance with your travel questions or concerns, do not hesistate to comment.

Re: Hi everyone, from a travel nurse

My agency(Sunbelt Staffing, recruiter, Gail) does staff LPNs and you are experienced in your specialty. It is time consuming finding the right fit with an agency. Remember, these companies are "for profit" and the recruiters usually are not nurses. Recruiters usually have a higher up to whom they report. Continue your search, find a reputable company JCAH accredited and a recruiter that has a proven track record. You are interviewing them--just as much as they are interviewing you. Also keep an open mind about location.

Welcome to the site! Where about in MO are you based? Have vacationed in the state a few times.....St. Charles is nice, and the area around Jeff. City has awesome scenery!
