Welcome...nice to have you join us!![]()
I'm new to the forum. Worked in the US for an oncologist for 10 years and then for a group of neurologists for 10 years. Retired and now live in Israel.

Thanks to all who so warmly welcomed me! I feel a little out of it, being retired now, but it's reassuring to know that some things don't change--there will always be something for nurses to complain about! Keep your spirits up--retirement is at the end of the rainbow.

Can you volunteer your time/expertise?
I have been a caretaker for my elderly father, and until recently for my mother (who passed away in August), though now my dad is in a nursing home. At least I'm able to follow his medical care with a certain degree of knowledge. My volunteer work, in an organization in Israel for helping the ill, elderly and disabled, is not in my field, but rather in Public Relations because they could use my English expertise more than my medical expertise. I keep busy, don't worry!
