| Hey Yall!! Hey yall!! My name is Lori and I am an ER RN from Virginia. I have lived in NC for the last 2 years working in a level II ER. I am currently looking for a position in VA, but am also interested in travel nursing. Guess time will tell. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |

MagRedC5-- My username is in regards to my husband. The USMC blessed me in bringing him to me. We are currently having some problems due to readjustment from back to back deployments to Iraq...however I am hopeful that everything will work out just fine. That being the reason I am looking into traveling. That pretty well sums it up | |

| Super Moderator | Re: Hey Yall!! Hi Lori, Welcome to the forums, you can learn a lot about traveling and the ins/outs on the travel section of this site. Have articles, companies listed also on http://www.4travelnursing.com For the experienced nurse, travel nursing can open up a world of opportunities. Especially in a Military family, could work out quite well for you. To get a feel for it, you can try taking some assignments with a local nursing agency. See if you're comfortable going from place to place with little or no orientation. Travel nursing isn't for everyone, better to find out early if it will work out for you.
