This is my first time posting on this site. I am a Mental Health RN working at a Crisis Stabilization 2 week program. I love it but today I got dissed again by one of the Psychiatrist. I get along fine with the other 3. This man is soooo rude, never calls me by name or even acts as if I am in the room when we are seeing clients. I finally told my supervisor and also the doctors supervisor. I was just going to ignore it but NO WAY! This is not 60's or even later. I feel that we nurses need to speak up when things happen. I would have liked to talked to him privately and expressed who I felt with his behavior. I hope to meet him face to face when they discuss my situation. I will not be intimadated anyone. Any YOU GO GIRL comments out there. NURSE RULE

Don't you just *love* arrogant jerks like that? I dealt with a GP like that; felt like slapping the bejeebers outta him. Unfortunately, c/o to the DON wouldn't help here, as she just adored him.

I agree, we shouldn't have to be intimidated.
