I'm a two year graduate from Gateway Community College in Phoenix AZ. I am currently taking courses towards the Masters Bridge Program on line through California University, Dominguez Hills. I have a Bachelors from another major.

I'm working at a large and popular teaching hospital in Oakland California, Highland Hospital. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone thinking about a travel nurse position in Northern California. It's been my experience that the experienced nurses know just as much or more than the interns or resident physicians. They respect nurses here. I have yet to meet a doc who treats the nurses badly. That just doesn't happen here.

My position is Nurse Case Management/ Utilization Review from 830 to 5p. I've learn an incredible amount of valuable clinical information and have increased my critical assessment skills.

I'm also on the look out for a travel nurse who would like to rent a room in my 2bd/ 2ba condo, which is about one mile from Highland Hospital. The room would be available in Feb, 2008. Feel free to ask questions about the room or my job.
