Hi, Avianna, and welcome to the site! Wonderful weather we're having in the area, eh? Yesterday was warm, and now it's cool.

Where are you doing your clinicals?

I did an ADN program too here in California at Golden West Community College. I've been med/surg (gyne/uro/onc) for 5 years now. Welcome!

Re: hello new here

Hello Kristen and Welcome! I completed my ADN degree in 1995. One thing I would caution you about is something I wish I had realized at the time..There are many opportunities to be had in Nursing, but most of the good ones want you to have a BSN..even if you have to do it part time it is well worth the time and effort to do. I just cannot find the time or money to do any more schooling and it definately has cost me some wonderful job opportunities. Just some friendly advice.Good Luck to You!
