Smile Hello from Maryland

Hi everyone. I am a new nursing student and am very excited about the new career goal and aspiration I have choosen. I am the mother of a brilliant 2 year old who just started preschool on the same day that I started the nursing program. As most moms know, it was a very hard day for me, to say the least. But, things are adjusting and I am feeling more comfortable in the decision I have made. Obviously, it's a smart one because I am bettering myself and at the same time, my family. My husband is a wonderful man who works his butt off to pay the bills. He is super supportive in everything I do. I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom, and he said "OK!". Now, I want to be a nurse, and he said "OK!".
I am very happy I found this site to offer the support I need to get through this program without going insane in the process. Please feel free to contact me with comments/questions.

Best wishes,
Holly

Re: Hello from Maryland

Hi, Holly! Sounds like you have a great guy there.

So how is school going? I think we have all felt like we were going 'insane' at one time or another during school. Feel free to drop by and vent when you need to, ok?
