|  Hello! Intro I just joined the site and thought I would say hi. I'm 39 with 3 boys (17, 9, 4) and currently working full time in a cardiac cath lab. I've been in nursing for almost 15 yrs and in the medical field since I was 18. I'm here to meet new people and see how the rest of you think the nursing profession is doing. My current pet peeve seems to be the trend toward BSN....seems to me like my current facility is trying to cram this down our throats. I'm all for furthering your education if you want to but I don't have that desire right now. Anyway, stepping off my soapbox for now....and saying HELLO!!

BTW.....The local college's program has tooooo long of a wait period, PLUS a lottery system; thus, the BSN. Glad to have you with us, though. Hope to see many of your posts in the future! 'Cat' |
