| Hello everyone. My name is Robert. I am a Flight Medic/Trauma Nurse in Nashville, TN with Vanderbilt University. I can't really release more details about my position other than the aforementioned for legal reasons(red tape with Vandy's legal dept). Anyways, I am a Critical Care Paramedic and RN, B.S.N. I received my A.A.S. and initial licensure as an RN from Motlow State's wonderful RN program. Afterwhich, I pursued my B.S.N through Tennessee Technological University. My EMT-IV licensure came also from Motlow State, followed soon after by my Paramedic license from Tennessee Technological University. I am now actively pursuing my Master's in nursing in Vanderbilt's Emergency Nurse Practitioner program(Family Nurse Practitioner/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) as well as finishing out a B.S. of NeuroScience with a focus in medicinal neurochemistry to facilitate in the near-future my transition to medical school. My primary interest in medicine is the study and management of patients having experienced traumatic brain injury. One such study I am leading involves N-methyl-D-aspartate antagonism methods of neural-protection. I look forward to conversing with all of you.
