| Administrator | Re: Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to the site, Jess! Glad to have you join us. One helpful tip: Always remember the 'ABC's'! Seriously, though, don't panic! I am sure you will do fine in your job. Remember this is still a learning process. Hope you drop by often; I am interested in hearing how things go for you, work-wise and school, too. 'Cat' |

| Re: Hello Everyone!!! Jessica, welcome and congratulations. Be a sponge; learn and observe all you can. Questions should not be thought of as dumb ones. You will be more respected if you ask questions than not. Take one day at a time. You will find, nursing gets a little easier as the years go by. However, there will still be stressful moments if you are a nurse for 30 years. Keep the Faith and enjoy the experience.

| Junior Member | Re: Hello Everyone!!! Thank you very much! My first night went... well.. pretty good i suppose. I started out the night (with my preceptor of course) with 5 patients and 1 admission around 3 am. The biggest thing I will need to work on I think is organization.. ie. how to keep report (giving and getting) organized and to make sure i dont miss anything. As i said... any tips are welcome!!
