| Hello!!! Hi all,My name is Tilde, and I am very happy and fortunate that I stumbled upon this site when searching for information about getting into nursing. I come from a recruiting background, primarily IT and Customer Service. I have a BS in Human Resource, but found I am not enjoying what I am doing. Nursing entered my mind because recentley I was in a bad car accident, and didn't necessarily realize how important nurses were to our society, until my accident. I do understand that doctors mostly give you a cure to your illness or what not, but quite frankly when you are in a hospital, the first people I can run and get info from are the nurses, and most are kind and giving, which to me a trait I have. I understand there is STRESS in Nursing, but I am just not into the corporate setting, seemingly always trying to compete against someone. I felt I went to school for something not worthless, but something I'm not happy doing. Besides my blabbing lol, I am married to an automotive guru who loves to work on vehicles. I have a child on the way, I do not know the gender. Other than that, I am starting a CNA course (yes starting from the ground up ) to make sure that Nursing will continue to be of interest to me....I am seeing alot of good info here, and I am going to dig as much as I can!!!!Nice to meet you all! |

Congrats on your soon-to-be new role in Motherhood. Probably the most important job you will ever have. ![]() |
