Hola from Texas.
I am a nurse with 11 years experience in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Though I have a varied history in nursing, I am currently working Ob/Gyn. I am wife to one and Mom to two.

I have been working minimal shifts PRN, but have recently found a TDA spot that I start in a couple of weeks. It will be a transition for us, but we figured for a year or so it will be worth it to build up savings and get some maintenance done around the house. After that, we will see if I go part time or PRN.


I am a news and current event addict. I am going to miss my Sunday morning news shows quite a lot! I am into politics and my husband calls me an extremist...not extreme right or left, just extreme. <grin> I have some views that are very left of center, but in general, I am conservative and find myself getting more so as I get older. lol

I guess I sought our this site because of the change in my career and wanting to get the "pulse" of the profession from other nurses. I look forward to getting to know you.
