Hi! I am a new user on this site, and although not a nurse, I am starting my M.S. in Natural Health Care and Wellness Consulting this month, so befriending all caregivers is my goal. I also offer a cozyprivate rental for travel nurses in the Jacksonville, FL area. I had a friend that was a travel nurse years back and I remember how difficult it was to travel when you have a dog, but you don't want to leave them behind for 12 weeks. Any other dog lovers out there??

If you click on the "Places to play" in Florida, it will bring you to a page where you can select your city, and then it will provide you a listing and description of all the dog parks, dog-friendly beaches, and state parks in that city. Great resource when you're on the road and need a place to take Fido off leash! Also lists pet-friendly restaurants!

Yes, Florida is a very dog-friendly state! My Layla just loved going to the dog beach when we were in Naples, FL last winter!
