Happy Father's Day, everyone! Don't forget to call Dad if/when you can......

It's getting a bit dark and breezy over here, which means rain, rain, rain. Blah. I was hoping to sleep in a bit more, but my plans got changed. Got a bit of sun yesterday, which is a good thing. Will be going out a bit later, but hope to see a few posts when I get back.

Just doing nothing today. My neck is a bit sore probably from the waterslides. I took a little nap today and woke up when I heard the shower. My 21 yr old was over doing more yard work...he got called back to his job starting tomorrow...yippy hope it lasts a little while this time last time he only went back for 2 weeks at least it kick his unemployment back. DH went to do some mystery shopping at some drive thrus so he'll bring home diner in a little while....so much for the new grill tools he got today LOL

So, I am back in Cedar Rapids tonight... We were able to get into our apartment this AM, and everything was fine there. The hospital called and asked if I would come in to work their first-aid station for the relief workers. The hospital hasn't opened back up yet, but they want to put me to work & said they will honor my contract, so we came back. So it looks like I will be staying here for the summer after all!

'Manda, I saw where people were let back into town to see things. Nice to know that the hospital could still use you.

Cass, never fear....I am sure the grilling gear will be used, even for marshmallows.
