HI!!

Been browsing the forum for a while but never really responded. This site is a terrific source of support and insight into other nurses lives. I've been a nurse for 4.5 yrs and in the ED for 3.5 of those. Currently on my 3rd consecutive contract in a VERY busy Level II ED (appx 135,000 visits a year) and looking to travel. It's something I've thought about for a few years but the timing never seemed right... until now. I am excited for change and new locales. My best friends live in Newark and I love the city. California is definitely on the list as well as many others. I'm also working on my BSN online, part time, and judge marching band and color guard (both indoor and outdoor) in my free time. Just got back from a cruise to Cozumel and had a fantastic time. Looks like an addiction to cruising is in my future!! Hope to talk to you soon!

Welcome back to the site! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the cruise; too bad that one can't be a nurse on a cruise ship. After all, people 'do' get sick, do they not?
