| Hello I am an Australian registered nurse with 14 years experience who has just about finished the nightmare of applying to come and work in the United States. I work in the Operating Theatre (mainly Cardiothoracic) of what is a fairly large teaching hospital in Sydney (12 theatres, but reading some of the posts small by USA standards). I have travelled to the States many times even driven across it 4 times but have never worked there, and was wondering where should I work as I don't want to go travel nursing!!!!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks Shane |

| Re: Aussie wondering where to go Welcome! Where to live all depends on what type of climate you like- cold winters, or warm all year long? Do you want to live by the ocean? In the mountains? What types of things do you like to do for fun? Do you like big cities, or small towns & rural areas? If you can answer some of these questions, we can give you a better idea of what areas offer the things you're looking for. |
