| The WORST Travel Agency Well I believe I have finally found the worst Travel Agency in America - INA - Integrated Nursing Alliance. It is a shame because I had spoke so hignly of them in the beginning and now I have to take it all back. I had the worst experience with this group ever. I ended up having my contract terminated at 2 hospitals while working with them. My recruiter Shawn, as well the "man in charge" Jack will stab you in the back. I was on contract in Palm Springs at a wonderfull hospital, which I am rehirable at as long as I do not come back with the company. It all started with the "tiny" condo that we had no room to put even our clothes in the closet, which we asked to be moved from. Sure, I was told just hold out and in 2 weeks we will put you in some. thing larger. I kept hearing 2 wks on a place to live and it never happened. All I wanted was a place with a washer and dryer. The condo did not even have a "frost free" refrigerator It had the old ones you have to boil water to defrost. Then the insurance. I needed to go to the doctor and was supposed to have insurance from "DAY ONE". I still to this day don't have my insurance cards. My recruiter did not know what floor I was supposed to be working on??? He was clueless. When my contract got cancelled in Palm Springs he got me another contract but refused to pay for moving expenses, moved me into a nasty cheap motel at the next assignment. He even went as far as to tell me to look in the phone book and find me a place to live. Come on, he is a recruiter with an agency! In the meantime, he was given a check to pay for insurance, which he was asked to hold until I had worked at least 2 wks. He new I was broke, had no money in the bank but told his boss Jack to go ahead and cash the check, which totally screwed my checking account by a minus $250. Then when my contract was cancelled here on the first night of work, which totally made no sense as to their reasoning, he refused to back me on any anything said by a manager. Aren't companies supposed to back their nurses???? I could see if I had killed someone, gave the wrong med, etc. but the what was said was untrue. He just called one afternoon and said, "Oh, by the way, the hospital terminated your conttact. THEN he refused to pay me for the hours I worked. Still to this day I have not seen a check. I heard, "it's in the mail" for over a month and a half. Still no check. He said by the time I was charged for everything, my check was only one dollar and some cents. The people working at this company are a bunch of Aureus rejects. So if you thinks Intellistaff, American Mobile and others are bad you should NEVER get connected with this agency. When they did this to a girl I worked with, I should have know. I guess you learn after getting screwed over too many times. |
