| I've just accepted a traveling position at UCLA Santa Monica in a new oncology unit. It opens up 2 weeks before my assignment starts. I've already been told that there are going to be a lot of new grads and nurses with no oncology experience. I accepted because of the idea of being able to be part of building a new unit and the experience I'll get. However, I'm concerned about all the headaches that I know will come along with a brand new unit. Has anyone else ever been a traveler in a new unit and do you have any tips? |
