Just curious if anyone has worked with this company and if they can recommend it or not. Thanks!! Also has anyone worked at any of the hospitals in Denver? I am looking to start my travel nursing there, but am always willing to listen to any opinions on that city. Thanks!:hurray:

| Member | Re: Travel Nurse Across America? I don't know anything about the company but I did an assignment at St. Joseph's in Denver. I did not like the hospital and I especially did not like living in such a huge city! If you don't mind it taking forever to get somewhere and 6 lanes of traffic always backed up, you should do well. Almost all of the hospitals are downtown and it's almost like each couple of blocks has it's own hospital. The apt I stayed in was very nice and it was close to a lot of things to see and do in Colorado, but I will NEVER do a city that big again. Swedish Hospital there is one of the nicer hospitals and thats where most of the people with money go (i.e. the Gov, Senate members, The Denver Football players). So good luck in choosing where you go. Donna |

Re: Travel Nurse Across America? Yes, Denver is fantastic! My favorite city to work in, though, has to be San Diego... you can't beat the weather and the people are just so laid back. I got a job there off of Nurse Travel.

Re: Travel Nurse Across America? Worked for Travel Nurse Across America and absolutely loved them!! They always did what they said, had great pay, and great insurance. They will do what it takes to make you happy, but are not pushy at all!!!

Re: Travel Nurse Across America? I am currently working with them for an assignment. WOW is all I can say! Cathy Phillips my recruiter is absolutely wonderful. She explains eveything to me; doesn't even sounds exasperated when I ask questions. As a new traveler also, I highly recommend them. I read posts about different companies and can't imagine some of the things I read! Ask for Cathy and tell her April referred you! You will be most happy with the patience and care demonstrated. Good Luck, let me know how it is going! :luck:
