Does anyone know of a company that contracts only with magnet hospitals? Any other information about magnet facility travel nursing would be greatly appericiated. Thanks!!

I know of no Travel Nursing Companies that only staff at Magnet Facilities and I have reviewed about all of them listed in the Travel Nursing Company Directory connected to my site.

With the fierce competition between Travel Nursing Companies fighting over Travel Nursing Jobs I don't think any company has the luxury to limit themselves to just Magnet Facilities.

In my opinion I think Magnet Status is overrated and is more a marketing scheme drawn up by the ANCC the same orginization that certifies many Nurse Specialties.

I believe they make it a top requirement to have certified Nurses which they make alot of money off of not to mention all the fees to be reviewed and maintain Magnet Status.

I worked many years at a Magnet Hospital and remember when the magnet people came around I didn't even see them at all. Our Top Management selected one staff member and groomed her well and they took her to lunch to meet the Magnet People.

The staffing was unsafe before they received Magnet Status as well as after. They just doctored the staffing numbers better.

When I left to become a Traveler every place I worked had better staffing and none were Magnet Hospitals. I returned briefly and they were still a Magnet Hospital but the staffing was still unsafe hmmmm.

But then again that was my experience. I'd be interested in opinions of others who worked at Magnet Facilities.

Sheesh at least Joint Commission came to the units and questioned staff and patients.

If you are still dead set on only working at Magnet Hospitals they should be listed at the ANCC website I suppose and then you could narrow down your search to which ones you want to go to and then ask them what comapnies they work with.

Or contact multiple companies and tell them you want to work at Magnet Hospitals. I have the email links below the website links of all the Travel Nursing Companies as well as phone numbers.
