VA Hospitals can be exceptional places to work. They have gone to a computerized patient record in most facilities (or they're in the process of doing so...); also, medication administration is barcode, you scan the patient wristband, then scan the med..it is entered electronically into the computerized record.

They can also be a tiny bit frustrating if you aren't used to red tape....
