|  Travel assignment to Hawaii I've been traveling for almost 2 years and Im ready to do an assignment in Hawaii. The travel company Im thinking of working with is ALTRES, a local travel company in Hawaii. Has anyone worked with them? |

| Re: Travel assignment to Hawaii Hello, I just applied with Altres. To travel with them you have to be a nurse for 3-4 years. They would take me but not my husband because he was only a nurse for two years.There phone system is screwed up.To try to speak with a human takes awhile- they like you to leave messages and they will call you back when they feel like it. I can't say that I got the greatest feeling when I spoke with them but .....to each his own |

| Re: Travel assignment to Hawaii I got the same response from Altres as well. My advice to travelers wanting to go to Hawaii is go there for vacation if you really want to enjoy it. Housing is sub-par. The pay is low, and the local vibe can suck at times. Stick to the Main-land. If you really do want to go you might have better luck with Sagent or CoreMedical. |
