Tns Or Rn Network?

Hi Everyone!

I am getting ready to start travel nursing with my friend, we are both labor nurses. We have been talking extensively with Travel Nurse Solutions and RN Network. I would like to hear any feedback and/or advice that anyone has regarding these companies; reputation, pay, benefits etc. We are looking at AZ, CA or LA right now. Thanks in advance for any input

Re: Tns Or Rn Network?

I am getting ready to leave for my very first travel assignment ever & will be going with RN Network. My recruiter, Kimberley Gaines has been extremely helpful in getting me all set to go. Because I am a first-time traveler, I had tons of questions & was paranoid/nervous about everything. She has been very patient with me and has been wonderful in answering all my questions. RN Network has free health insurance (with no deductibles!), free private housing, travel & license reimbursement, and has TONS of assignments all over the country. If you would like, I can give you her phone #- PM me

I have been with RN Network for six years, with the same recruiter, Michelle Kluger. I never have had any real problems with them.

Re: Tns Or Rn Network?

Hey travellers, How's everybody? I work for clinical one, I am on assignment in CA. I hate the job I'm in and have a question for any experienced traveler. The contract I signed for 36 hour a pay is not being honored by the hospital, they want 36 and 48 hour work weeks, clinical one wants to appease the hospital, I don't want to work more than the 36 hours a week I contracted for, and I'm feeling shafted. I also HATE this assignment, I feel my license is at risk at times there. I want to leave. I'm told I will be sued for the housing. Any thoughts, or advise? Thanks!

If your contract states 36 hours per week, then they can't force you to work extra, no exceptions. They have to honor your contract, unless the hospital chooses to cancel, which, if they do, you should not be held financially responsible.

RN network rocks. my recruiter, beth volpe, is awesome. i had a travel partner a few months ago and the agency she went with was disorganized and couldnt promise her that she would actually get work.

Re: Tns Or Rn Network?

My husband has been working with TNS and in addition to really liking his recruiter, the benefits are fabulous (blue cross/blue shield of Alabama), so I guess it depends on what part of the country you live in. We live in MS and my husband drives the 60 miles to work and pockets the very generous stipend, decent pay and great medical benefits! His recruiter is Jill and she has really impressed us both with how quickly she responds to his questions. If there is discrepancy on his time card, she calls him and lets him know, he doesn't get blind sided by a short check. One time she made a mistake and she promptly admitted it. She is very honest and we like her a lot. If TNS has another job when this contract is up, he will definitely be signing up with TNS again. The amount we pay for insurance is about 120 per week, which might seem high to some people, but it covers us both and we have multiple expensive medications, so even at 120 per week, in our case it's a god send. Doctor co-pays are like 25 bucks, most you'd have to pay to have surgery is a few hundred (like 200) dollars out of pocket, no deductibles whatsoever. And you get it on day ONE. Pharmacy benefits are 10/25/35 co-pay, considering that ONE of my meds cost 450 per month, that's a great deal.

Good luck whatever your decision is!
