Thinking about Travel Nursing

I've always wanted to become a travel nurse. My one year of experince is coming up and I wanted to know what are the best companies to work for. I was thinking about Medical Solutions or onassignment travel nursing. Does anybody have any suggestions or experiences with great travel companies?

I've been with Medical Solutions for almost a year, good company, not many travel jobs though. But Private Message me for my recruiter. On assignment is good as is RN Network.
What is your specialty? Also, maybe you could wait another year as alot of hospitals are posting for experienced RN's of 2 or more years. Travel jobs are starting to come back but still are limited.
Be careful because Recruiters will tell you there are plenty of travel jobs just to get you AND then you start a job and find out you are out of work for a few months.

I am a Labor and Delivery nurse. I wanted to start traveling in April which will give me a year and 6 mos experience. You think this would be enough experience? One my friends works with Medical Solutions but I just wanted some input on other companies also. Have you worked with other companies?

Anyway, call a few recruiters and get some ideas. Also check company website job postings to get an idea where jobs are.

I sent you a private message. Thanks again for your help. I am going to reasearch a few companies and see what they can offer me. I am really excited about traveling and learning new things...hopefully my experiences are good. If I have any other questions or concerns I will post.
