Does anyone have an idea what is the average pay for travel nurses, I live in iowa and have been offered a job and have been a nurse for 15 years, my pay rate is only 27/hour with 1,000 a month housing and 500 for gas every three months. The hospital is about 75 miles from were I live. Please any advice.. no bonuses, no shift differential, no weekend pay is this the norm???? |

| Re: Thanks for your input! There usually aren't shift differentials in travel nursing. $27/hour is a little low- I made $33/hr in Iowa 2 months ago.....
