| Reknown Hospital My wife and I are currently considering a travel assignment here. She is a CVICU nurse,myself a Trauma nurse. This will be our first travel assignment. I have read some comments about the hospital before the name change. Seeking current comments. We're obviously hoping for a good "first" experince. |

| Re: Reknown Hospital You do mean Renown in Reno, NV correct? If so I went to school at TMCC and did all my clinicals at Renown (AKA Washoe Medical Center). Reno is a great little town with a lot of things to do. Renown is THE Level One trauma center for northern Nevada and you will see a great diversity of patients there. Anybody can do a 13 week assignment anywhere that isn't completely obnoxious (I even survived Bakersfield, yuk!) and Renown/Reno isn't. I think you and your wife would really enjoy your assignment. |
