| Question about travel nursing I am brand new to the nursing industry (sold pharms before) and this forum. I've been reading all the threads about travel nursing and find it fascinating. Its way too early for me to even contemplate any of these options but I had a question for the those "in the know". Is travel nursing booming because of the nurse shortage? or is this something that has always been around? What does the future of travel nursing look like? Just curious Stacey |

| Re: Question about travel nursing It is booming because of the nursing shortage, but the nursing shortage isn't going to end anytime soon- it's only going to get worse. More nurses will be retiring soon, and there is an greater demand for healthcare, so travel nurses will continue to be in greater demand.
