anyone have any info on OHSU in portland OR? thinking bout taking an assignment there. How about housing? anyone familiar with the area, which quadrant of the city? which complexes are the best? any input would be appreciated thanx in advance

I've heard OHSU is nice, i work at Legacy Emanual.
Portland is a great city in the summer, but you get alot of grey crappy rainy weather fall through to summer. The hiking and natural beauty is second to none and the coast is about 1.5hrs away. You can usually find housing any where around the city, check Craigs list for prices ect.
I prefer the NW and SW parts of the city in close. Also the area around Hawthorn street on the West side of Mnt Tabor is a cool place to walk around.
I've made two travel stops here and have spent approx 6yrs total.
On another note, Man I miss San Diego!!!! Loved the weather, but decent non shallow females are tough to find! Lots to do and see.
Go there instead!
My next run in the fall will probably be Nashville TN unless I get stuck in CO.
