| PEDS Travelers? Hey everyone! Like many others, I'm looking for info on traveling. I've been a nurse for a little over a year now at a children's hospital and plan on starting traveling July 2008. I'm hoping I can get some advice from some pediatric travelers? I've heard that everything is a little different in the pediatric world. I'm open to any suggestions on companies, hospitals, do's and dont's, etc. All advice is appreciated - please share!! Also, as a new traveler what do you wish you would have known or been given the heads up on? I started fresh out of school in the PICU but only stayed for 4 months so I'm a little more nervous about traveling with only 1.5-2 yrs experience on a surgical short stay floor with generally healthy kids. I don't have any specific questions but would love to talk to a few of you all to gain some perspective if you've got some free time to talk! jessicarosern@gmail.com |
