Hi ninasnine, welcome to the forum. Once you get used to travel nursing you may find it to be a great way to see the country. I look forward to reading your future posts.
Hello fellow professionals!!!!! this is my first time on this (or almost any) forum. I'm an ER nurse from Ohio, practicing for approx 15 yrs in a busy ER. I have never considered traveling as a nurse until recently. Several life changes..ie.. kids all grown and gone, loss of a parent, recent divorce and what seems to be a downhill spiral of nursing empowerment and appreciation at my facility have all prompted an urge to spread my wings and see what else is out there. Am I just going nuts or does this ring a bell with anyone?? I found this forum by accident and hope you all can offer some advice on companies, what to ask for (or demand), and what to expect. Although I consider myself a seasoned ED nurse, this is totally new and scary....so I'm open to all ideas and suggestions. Thanks so much!!
