NurseFinders

Has anybody ever used this company (NurseFinder)? They staff for Kaiser out here in California. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Re: NurseFinders

I was interviewed by Nursefinders when I was submitted by a recruiter to a Kaiser facility. Apparently Kaiser contracts out to nurse finders to do their interviews and classes in CA.

Re: NurseFinders

I am currently on assignment at a Kaiser hospital- I work for RN Network, but my assignment is contracted through Nurse Finders, so technically I work for both, but I get paid from RN Network. I have found that my time sheets get "lost" frequently by Nurse Finders, and their staff at the local office are kind of rude, BUT, you cannot work as a traveler at a Kaiser hospital in CA unless you go through Nurse Finders. The thing that has prevented me from getting my pay royally screwed up is RN Network. My recruiter & payroll specialist have had to "fix" the mistakes Nurse Finders have made each week with my time sheets.....

I was told that Nursefinders and National Healthcare Staffing merged; and, that as of Jan 1, Nursefinders is using the NHD payroll department. Found NHS to be terrible; but, doing per diem with Nursefinders hasn't been a problem. Have you seen an improvement since Jan 1?

Re: NurseFinders

I don't get paid by Nurse Finders- I get paid by my company, BUT the problem is that Nurse Finders keeps losing my time sheets. This past week they didn't send half of my time sheets to my company's payroll because "they got stuck to another traveler's time sheet"!!! The problem is not a payroll issue, it's a Nurse Finders competency issue........

Re: NurseFinders

Hello,
I work at a kaiser facility in Los angeles, ca but I do not go through nurse finders. Actually there are a few travelers that are not through nursefinders. I use medstaff, they are great, I always get my pay on time even with the holidays. Another traveler said that nursefinders always screws up her pay, like she gets it late!

Re: NurseFinders

I'm working for a Kaiser hospital in LA and have to go through Nursefinders. Like others have said my time sheets were frequently lost. They are always shorting me on my hours and didn't pay me holiday pay for working Christmas! It's a little fustrating!

Re: NurseFinders

did an assignment with NHS. they lied to me about my license in NV. then when I showed for my start date they had no housing. My dog, wife and myself had to find a hotel room on labor day weekend then stayed for 2 weeks while my recruiter told me not to worry and that he was working everything out. long story short I paid for my own hotel, never got my NV license lost all the money never got any reimbursment, and finally went with a great company that got me assigned and licensed in AZ over 1 weekend. Now I cont. to work with IPI and I love it. they understand that I have a family to care for on the road and that I need housing and assignments that reflect that.

Re: NurseFinders

I'm currently working in San Diego through AMH but everything goes through Nurse Finders. I do all my extra shifts through nurse finders since the pay is pretty good and they offer time and a half and double time fairly often. They will also cut you a check when your done with your extra shift. You have to be flexible though because you will go to other hospitals and only receive a quick crash tour and hit the ground running. I only work in ICU and haven't had problems with cancelled shifts but other travelers working in Tele and other units complain frequently about this problem.
