| New to traveling and so many questions.......... I am wanting to start traveling in January. I'm a RN with 2 years experience in a 18 bed ICU. Can anyone give me some advice on what companies are the best, where are the best places to go, places to avoid. Do most ppl pack their home and go or do you have a pad in your hometown to come back to? Where are the higher paying jobs at? I'm a first time traveler and obviously a little nervous! This is my 10th year nursing and have always wanted to travel, but one thing or the other has gotten in the way. Now, this is the time! I just want to have the best experience possible! Thanks for your advice! |

| Re: New to traveling and so many questions.......... Hi,Travel nursing is like buying a house. A great real estate agent makes for a great experienc. The best advice I can give you is this...get a great recruiter! I am a nurse, traveller and now a recruiter. I will give you freely any information you need. Just remember you hold all the power. Hospitals desperately need you and recruiters need you to staff hospitals. Call me and let me know what you want to know.
