Hi all! I am new to this site and just wanted to say a brief ****o. I am currently an RN in Home Health but considering a travel assignment. My husband and I are working snowbirds. The past 3 winters I have just transferred state to state with the Home Health company I work for now. My biggest concern with being a traveler is that I haven't worked in a hospital setting in 20 years. Are all traveler assignments in hospitals? Does anyone know if travel agencies have an orientation program to bring nurses up to speed on acute care?
