This morning I took the NET nursing school entrance exam, which is accepted in the two RN programs in my area. I don't need it for the schools that have the BSN programs. I waffled about taking this test, since I don't agree with standardized testing, but I also thought I should keep my options open. The waiting list is sooooo long for the BSN programs, and it is only 2 years for the RN programs. I figured it couldn't hurt to take the NET (the cost is only $30). I finished the 3 hour test in about 1.5 hours, but I feel comfortable with my work. Any words of wisdom from you established nurses out there?
