Hello. I am currently looking to do some PRN nursing thru Medical Solutions out of South Orange County, Ca. I am an ICU RN. Can anyone give me any advice. Anyone work for them?

Also, This will be my first assignment away from my staff job. I will eventually be transitioning into travel nursing but want to get my feet wet with a little PRN or per diem nursing and I am wondering besides the hourly pay for PRN nursing, What else should I expect from the company. Any and all suggestions and comments would be appreciated.

What state is South Orange?
I'm taking travel asssignment with Medical Solutions,first time with them.
A travel nurse I met on assignment uses them and likes them.
But they are smaller and don't always have a wide selection of assignments, so, I keep signed on with 2 other companies and will play the field prn

I am presently on my second asignment with Medical Solutions out of Omaha, Nebraska. So far, everything has gone smooth. My recruiter is great and gets back to me very quickly with any problems that I have encountered which have been few. This assignment is in the West so I had to have housing. They set me up with a spacious, furnished apartment close to work which allowed me to bring my 3 dogs with me. I have been very pleased with them so far, but I also have other agencies working for me, if the case should ever arise. I think you will be happy with Medical Solutions. I have been.
