Re: Medical-Dental insurance

It depends on how good the travel companies insurance is. Some have great insurance with low copays/no deductibles, other companies aren't so great, it also depends on if you plan on switching companies a lot. If you plan on switching companies a lot, it might be better to get your own insurance, then you don't have to switch your insurance every time you change companies. I have been with RN Network for over a year and a half, and I take their insurance. It's very good insurance with no deductibles & low copays, and they let me add my husband to it for very little $$.

Re: Medical-Dental insurance

Anyone have suggestions for your how to get your own medical insurance outside of your companies? I am with AMN and my insurance is so awful, i just got a bill for $780 for a procedure I had done and I really can't afford it, so hoping i dont get sick while im traveling. This is actually one of the reasons i am going to stop traveling soon, the insurance is that bad!

Re: Medical-Dental insurance

Well, I am with RN Network, and the insurance is excellent, but I know a lot of travelers whose companies have not-so-great insurance get their own through blue cross/blue shield.
