I'm looking for well known, reputable travel company to send me to San Francisco for a 6 wk. assignment. I'm looking for great pay (more than $32/hr. that's what I make now) and a stipend for housing. My sister lives in SF and informs me that many apts. are not a great place to live. I've been in the ER but want to try something new like PACU or ambulatory surgery center or outpt. surgery. Please, please let me know any information of SF travel assignments (good or bad experiences), great places to live and work and compensation experiences.

They staff a lot in the CA area, I am in Palm Springs at the moment. My recruiter has really gone above and beyond with helping me out and helping me get started on this assignment. Since it is a smaller company you don't have to go through a lot of people like you do with other companies. I am in a condo now, everything is paid for. I will be moving into a 5,000 sq ft house at the beginning of next month with 2 pools and a jacuzzi since the condo is too small. So if you call, just tell Shawn that Donna in Palm Springs sent you.

I have worked with On Assignment for 2years now, and its great. My recruiters name is Sean Dodsworth. The company has their stuff together and hasn't done me wrong yet. Really, no problems, it was my first company and I keep going back. I have worked with companies that couldn't find their butt with both hands like Aureus, and that makes me miss On Assignment.
