I have been and RN for 11 years and have been traveling since last year with Trinity Heathcare Staffing Group out of Florence, SC. I am on my fifth contract with them. My recruiter, Denise Stephens, is great. They have always provided me with safe housing and my pay has always been accurate. My only complaint is with payroll in that any holiday leads to my pay being deposited at least one day late. Last New Years it was 6 days late...I was fairly upset about that.
Trinity just doesn't seem to have many options in western NC or eastern TN where I would like to go now. "Low census". I mainly work med/surg, but I also have L&D, peds and nursery experience. I just renewed my ACLS.
My question is...
Has anyone worked with a company that was able to locate good assignments in this area? I also noticed in another forum on this site that traveler's do usually work with several different agencies. I had never thought about that.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
